SWATT
THE LIGHT 2 |
|
 |
| |
Like
a fly swatter that gets rid of the unwanted flies,
THE SUN-SWATTER swatts
the harsh sunlight.
This latest
development of the CALIFORNIA SUNBOUNCE
TEAM
allows you to move the shadow at the same speed you want your
talent to move, making your images more alive and spontaneous. |

For
David Mecey's FotoFantasyCamp the use
of the SUN-SWATTER
was invaluable
because it afforded photographer and model to move uninhibited and
without thinking about where the overhead was, as it moved with
them.
SUN-SWATTER
frames come in two sizes: PRO 4' x
6' and BIG 6' x 8' |

For
Steve
Thornton, using
the clean Nevada light made a
lighting problem easy to solve with the use of a
SUN-SWATTER
on the rock above the talent.

Steve
Thornton
says it best after being faced with a lighting problem:
"I
wanted to shoot this couple in direct sunlight but because in this
Nevada desert's clean air
the light was very hard and because the hats are white they would
have blown out totally. So I put
an assistant up on a rock with a Sunswatter with a 2/3 stop silk
& another assistant off to the side to
bounce light mostly onto the woman's face. I exposed the image to
just hold the white details & moved
the reflector in closer to balance the light better. My hat clients'
comments on all of this shoot was how
great the hats looked even when strong side lit and without a shadow
being cast by a flag, which is
how the photographer before me shot this product."

Because
of it’s lightweight
size and easy set up, the
SUN-SWATTER
is fast and
discreet, helping not to
draw attention to a shoot
on location.
For
this shot in Cuba by
André Boeck, he used a
PRO SUN-SWATTER
with a
LE LOUCHE SCREEN and
a PRO SUN-BOUNCE
with a Zebra SCREEN. |
